Welcome to Dirt Road Wife Photography! I’m Teresa Milner, a mom, wife, photographer and part-time pheasant wrangler. I’ve spent the last decade of my life on dirt roads, enjoying the many blessings life and our beautiful state of Wyoming has to offer.
My passions are simple – my family, my friends, country life and photography. I gave up a career in public relations in wildlife and natural resources management to marry my husband and raise our family in rural Wyoming . I traded news releases and press conferences for kissing boo-boos and playing soccer in the back yard. It was the second best decision I’ve ever made, short of saying yes to my husband’s proposal!
I’m still an advocate for wildlife, outdoor recreation and agriculture. These days, you’re likely to find me in the bird pens helping my husband with the pheasants he raises or maybe belly deep in the tall grass trying to capture a photo of a pelican. And nothing beats a cool summer morning fishing on the lake with my daughter and my husband.
I grew up in Cheyenne, riding horses and showing livestock. I proudly wore the blue and gold FFA jacket and was a 4-H member. I credit FFA for my public speaking skills and the fact that I know how weld and to properly make and amendment to the amendment of the main motion. Where are my fellow parli pro nerds at?
I ardently support FFA, 4-H and other youth organizations. I volunteer for the Wyoming FFA and am proud of my own background in agriculture. I appreciate nature’s beauty, people who are willing to get their hands dirty and brutal honesty.
Oh yeah, and Go Pokes!
My life begins where the pavement ends…let’s find a back road, roll the windows down and turn the radio up. Join me on this dirt road adventure, won’t you?
