Have you evet DESPERATELY wanted to be a superhero?

I would have gladly turned into DEET Girl and saved my poor client from the evil clutches of the League of Angry Mosquitos. I’d whirl my arms around my head and chant something super cool and conjure a cloud of repellent (environmentally friendly, of course) so big NASA could see it from space.

It would stop the horde dead in their tracks. BAM!

The beautiful Brooklyn would step out of the smoke and away from maniacal munching and we could finish our photoshoot calmly and happily.⠀

Except I’d left the bug spray at home. And we were miserable.⠀Insert sad emoji here.  It was probably the 4th biggest embarrassment of my professional life.⠀

Thanks goodness for clients and moms with a sense of humor and gracious hearts. The final result is something positively lovely, even this poor senior wasn’t exactly walking on a bed of roses. (They were puncture vine…but that’s a story for a different superhero).⠀

Here’s to the Class of 2019…may they be the superheroes of their generation.
