What should I wear for senior pictures?
For senior pictures, you should wear outfits that reflect who you are right now, inside and out. Your clothes should reflect your personal style, taste, and interests. They should also make you feel confident and look fabulous.
Senior year is a huge milestone in life. You’re wrapping up your high school career and getting ready to embark on a crazy exciting path. Your next step might be college or trade school. Maybe you’re heading right into the workforce or you’ve got the entrepreneurial bug and will start your own business. The “what’s next” can look like a lot of different things! But no matter where you’re headed, celebrating and documenting this time in your life is important.
I’m not just saying that because I’m a photographer. I say this as a 40-something mom who cherishes the memories I have of my senior year, and secretly wishes I had more.
What do you want to remember from this time in your life? Who are you right now? What are your interests and goals? Who are your friends? What activities make your heart soar with excitement or your soul feel totally at peace?
That’s what you want to document through your senior pictures.
